I've noticed that the spacing between lines is too large, when compared to real cards.

Now, I mean, the spacings dividing multiple abilities, or dividing abilities and flavor text, are fine. It's just the spacings for the text itself that isn't right.

So I was tinkering around and I noticed that if I stuck "line height soft: 0.9" at the end of the text bit in the style file, it makes the line heights look almost exactly the same as those on real cards.

Here's the original script:

		line height hard: 1.2
		line height line: 1.5

Here's the code that I ended up changing it to:

		line height hard: 1.2
		line height line: 1.5
		line height soft: 0.9

To illustrate my point, here's some cards with the current "incorrect" line height.

Here's some cards with correct line heights, after adding that line.

Just thought I'd let people know so we can get it into all the styles (even splits) for 0.3.4.

I knew something looked odd. Does this apply to the FPM and old templates as well?

Also, do these count as previews to a new set of yours?

I haven't downloaded the new FPM templates yet, but if it uses the same line heights as the others, then yeah. But I haven't used those templates in awhile (I think the last time I downloaded it was... 0.2.6?), so I can't judge.

But this does apply to everything else. Old-style, new-style, splits, planeshifted. Everything.

Well... technically no. They were taken from the old "Scattlefield" set I was making, but I was dissatisfied with the set. So I'm in the process of redesigning it from scratch, designing cards by color and rarity rather than in cycles.

Wouldn't it be easier to make card with the same text as current cards and work on those samples?

I've already made the change. IIRC, that was actually in the code at some point. It just got mysteriously removed.
