Actually, that's what I did for my M15 Clear Tokens--the card frame is a clear png. If anyone wants to change that, though, go ahead.

Also, as long as you're suggesting M15-style templates, I just wanted to mention that I'm currently working on my own custom M15-style flip card template (à la Kamigawa). It's not an actual printed style, but I just wanted to let you know in case anyone was considering making it.

These all look fantastic!

Also, I saw mention of M15 Miracles. Any chance those are going happen? Big smile

New templates? It's a MIRACLE!

Yeah, you heard me.

Newest Template: M15 Miracles

    Border colour is changeable
Multicolour blending maintains the coloured stripes, as does artifact blending.

Hey dude. I really like all those templates because all the other flip spark walkers and that have incorrect font, and also I want the miracle one as well as DF walkers. But everytime I try to install it it stops working and does not install. Help!

Stops working how? Do you get an error message? Does it not show up in MSE? Does the installer crash? I'm afraid I'm not sure what you mean.

Been a while since I've been here, but it's not often we get a template as tricky and cool as the meld cards. Here's my attempt at them.

Newest Template: EDM Meld Cards (3-in-1)

By default displays all three cards involved in a meld; the two meld DFCs and their combined backs.
Toggle between displaying the primary meld card (the one that gives the card it's name in the set explorer) and all three cards in the style menu.
Comes packaged with a new version of the file to allow three cards at once. If you install an older version, this template will stop working. You have been warned!
The meld shares its rarity with the primary card, but the secondary card's rarity can be changed.

I'm not completely satisfied with this template, but unfortunately there's no way to change the size of a card dynamically that I've figured out, so I settled for having the primary card cover half of the meld in two-card view rather than have a massive chunk of white space. It also lacks the eldritch moon icons. I consider this a prototype, and will try to refine it with later attempts.

I recommend two copies of the cards in your set, one for each half of the card.

My next planned templates will probably involve meld cards. Meld Planeswalkers? Meld Sparkers? Who knows! A happy smile

EDIT: By suggestion, I have released a more conventional Meld card template. I shall keep this one up as a optional template. I still like the idea, but agree that it did not reach its full potential.

This really should be done so that each half of a pair is its own separate card. Like, completely separate.

That's actually what I've been working on myself, first I just needed to try and mock up the name box for a clear DFC, and from their having two templates, meld(top) and meld(bottom), with the only caveat to it being having to manually divide the art yourself, but that usuallly shouldn't be a problem with stuff like GIMP. Acorntail, you mind me making use of these assets at all?

Yeah, after sleeping on it, I agree it wasn't my best work. Here's a more conventional template design, now with Eldrazi and Moon icons!

Fenrir: feel free to use any assets I make. I'd rather people go out and make new templates than horde everything I've made to myself. Stick out your tongue Here's a thread I made with all my psd resources as well, if you'd like:

Acorntail, I know it's crazy, but my obsessive organizational tendencies hate the fact that I can't view all of pieces of my meld card in one shot. Would you please, Please, PLEASE update the 3-in-1 template with the correct watermarks and release a version for colored cards as well? I know it won't make the set numbered correctly, but almost all of my cards are one-offs anyway, so it matters way more that they're in one spot than if they're numbered right. Thank you!

Edit: Like the ungrateful lurker I am, I forgot to thank you for the awesome work you've already done. It's much appreciated!

Ok, the meld template honestly couldn't be any better lol, thanks AcornTails, and because of all this as well, I'm able to begin work on EMN DFCs and clear DFCs, also, only thing with the meld templates though, the rarity of the meld should be able to be forced to a certain rarity, due to the precedent set with Brisela. Bruna is rare, and contains the bottom half of the meld(and thus the melds set number) while gisela is mythic, and Brisela is mythic. So I'm assuming the melds rarity is set to the higer of the two permanents' rarity, while the number is whatever permanent the bottom half is on the back of. So I'm going to see what I can do about setting a second rarity field for the meld card itself.

EDIT: For those who want to do this, go into the mse game folder, go under card fields and open it in a text editor, search for "rarity 2", set "editable: false" to "editable: true", and remove the line "script: card.rarity"

You should now be able to edit the rarity of the back of a DFC and other such cards that made use of that script to autoset the other rarity to that of the first.

EDIT 2: Acorntails, on the watermark for the meld card of the sacrificer, you accidentally put the watermark location for the front card. Just wanted to let you know A happy smile

Can you please make a template for Planeswalker-to-Planeswalker meld? For a Planeswalker both as the meld halves and the melded whole? It would be really awesome and helpful, thanks!

Would it be unreasonable to ask for a clear day side? For DFC and meld cards that are true colorless on their front face.

Here is an updated bugfixed version of Acorntail's (3in1) Meld Template "Style sheat" (I did only include the style file int this folder since the rest is already in the original download).
Anyways, I changed the style file so that the template behaves the way you wante it to do, Acorntail. I also managed to fix the Transformation fields to include the Type Symbols as well.
Here it is.

Any progress on normal-to-clear DFCs? And visa-versa if for some reason someone wants an Eldrazi that turns into a normal dude?

Maybe I could do it. I'm in the middle of exams, so I won't have time right away, though.

Not any huge rush, mostly just surprised as its absence. I assume everyone was too hyped about Meld to get the regular workhorse flips going.

Fenrir, any luck at all in making the meld(top)/(bottom) templates? I'd really like to be able to have two cards in the set so numbers are right, and also so that the meld card gets numbered correctly.

M15 Doublefaced Append
Auch! For some reason, I thought there was already made a clear doblefaced template, I have no idea why. That means there are yet no ready doublefaced frames for clear cards. I could allways make it myself, but it will take a lot more time and it won't be too good quality while my picture editing skills are rather low. Would have been nice if someone could take care of the frames for me. All i need is the M15 card1 and card2 image files (the card frames for each face).
Anyone who wants to take care of the task?

What I am planning to make multi append template that includes the following:

  • All the following contains 3 modes:
    1. Both faces special.
    2. Normal to special.
    3. Special to normal.
  • Special mode: Clear
  • Special mode: Nyx Enchantment
  • Special mode: Miracle (Only front face)
  • I will also try to include meld in all of this, just to top it off.
  • If you have more suggestions to special modes, feel free to ask.

I only need help for doublefaced on Clear, the others I have pretty much compleated already.

EDIT: This template is compleated and can be found in Additional Downloads

Anyone know if the Normal-to-Clear DFC template was ever completed?

They are not, but I am working on it now.
Do you specificly want it as a separate template, or can I include it in a multi doublefaced template?
Did you see the message I sent you?

The5lacker's picture

I did but I'm not exactly on the site frequently and have no photomanipulation skills. Given the rest of them are individual templates, I feel it'd be smartest to have them separate to keep things from breaking. Normal > Clear, Clear > Normal, Clear > Clear.

Remember, Flavor can be used to justify any number of terrible designs.

All of these M15 style templates are great!

Has anyone created a M15 style Leveler template?

I see nearly every other M15 type present. Just curious.

As you can see, it allows you to rename the Level area as well.

Now, my Clear Doublefaced templates are ready! The Doublefaced Append template will be done soon as well, but not yet. As @The5lacker recommended, I separated the clear templates into separate templates, but clear will also be featured in the append template as well.

Dear Acorntail

Do you have any of your templates up for download as a zip file and not as an auto-installer?

For some reason my PC cannot work with the auto-installers.

If you have a program like win-rar or 7zip, you can right-click the installer and select open archive, and use it as thought is was a normal zip file (unzip, export, etc).
Also, where is it you have currently located your mse.exe?
