I'm a little late to this and new to the editor... do damnans files work with the MSE program?

I enjoyed this game quite a bit when it was Jihad, though I never did keep up with it. I'd be willing to make a template if somebody can make or point me towards a set of blank cards (preferably 300 dpi or better) and the icons (I remember there being a lot of icons). I'd need a complete set for at least 1 of the revisions, although it would be easy enough to program all of them in if I have every revision available.

In the meantime, there is a fairly basic online editor available.

Blanks, Backs & All the symbols can be found here: http://damnans.hostei.com/downloads.htm
Not sure of the DPI though.

& there is a good reference set here:

this is of an interest to me, as the other vtes card maker i have is at best unwieldy to use. i'm basically going to have to learn how to make templates from scratch, so if anyone can give pointers not given in the article on the main page that'd be great.

There's some articles written by me and others in the Documentation section. Your best bet is to try and follow some of them and ask for help if/when you get stuck.

Thanks! I'll be sure to look into it over the coming weeks. hopefully i'll be able to use MSE to craft a variant game.

1st, the Good news -- Your friendly neighborhood lurker has already been working on V:TES template, and has most of the blanks and files done as well as a vast majority of the scripts written.

The Bad news -- Vampire cards include about 15 clans, and then sub-clans, etc. As yet, my current solution is to make a basic Vampire template, then have a clan "selection" popup drop down, which scripted will change to the specific background template.

Also, there are about 20+ "Disciplines" as they are known, (Attributes, whatever you want to call them), and for each, there is Minor and Major versions of each of those. Again, just put the 6 slots on the side of the vampire card, via pop up drop down. HOWEVER, this would be a huge drop down. So, I'm open to suggestions.

EDIT: Regarding the templates posted via links in this article.
Good news -- they are 300 dpi and of decent quality.
Bad news -- they are going to require a fair amount of editing to "look" like they true counterparts.
Regard..
