Use the one from my thread in the Additional Templates section, as I believe Pichoro only has the Planeswalker version. Also, the color indicator does get in the way as with the normal modern template. If you click a bit further along the type line box and then press the down arrow key on your keyboard you should get the normal dropdown box.

@Picks-at-Flies: I get a 404 error on that link.

Picks-at-Flies! I was just wondering about you and what ever happened to you yesterday! Over the weekend, I almost rehosted Rage, but decided to hold off a little longer. A happy smile Good to see you posting.

I second Nutty's 404 error.

And man, 18 MB? Rage formerly weighed in at about 2 MB. You must have some massive blanks in there? Once I get it, if I can shrink the file size without compressing the images any, are you okay with me resharing it? I bet I can cut that file size in half, or even less. A happy smile

I got the black-on-black template from the link Anuttymous posted on page 1 of this thread.

You know, I didn't realize until Nutty said so, but he's right - I don't have that template hosted at all.

But anyway, are there any errors in the console tab about the indicator field not being defined or something to that effect? Because I'll bet you've gotten this template, but somehow managed to miss getting my game file with the indicator field. That would cause the type line to vanish. Have you installed any templates that were hosted on my site?

I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but I think all of the official modern templates could use an extra colors update, if it'd make sense. Speaking of the extra colors template, I think the yellow template should be removed because MaRo says having yellow is a problem due to Magic already using a gold template for multicolor cards. On top to that, this may be a Twan/scripting thing, but the extra colors come up as colorless.

Pichoro's picture

I have no intention of adding a bunch of unofficial extra colors to each and every magic template.

I also have no intention of removing yellow from magic-new-extra, as I don't care what MaRo says. A happy smile

The extra colors show up as colorless because to the regular magic game file; they are.

Okay. I'd, actually, be happy with extra colors updates for double-faced, splits, and tokens. Would an extra colors template for the (post-)/soon-to-be modern (M15) template be too much to ask, when that template's officially released? Of course, it'd probably be a good idea to hold off on, at least, the tokens update, if you end up doing it..

I have no current intention of making extra colors for any of those. Except maybe M15. But that's a long ways off.

I've just added Xerent's Space Style, along with a compatibility update to the regular Space template.

Notably, I'm also now using a word_list and keywords file put together by Jeske Couriano, and intend to do so for the foreseeable future.

The Xerent style has been considerably modified since it was last shared by Ophidian Lord.

If there's interest, I might consider porting it back to Magic, but for now, it is Space only.

  • Forum Spoiler - Nested Booster Style (this is a previously unreleased export for my old method of posting boosters in nested spoilers)
  • LackeyCCG Export
  • MWS Export

Jeske) I actually didn't modify your keywords file at all, I just copy and pasted it right in. You must be referring to the differing terminology on the sample renders, which comes from copying down the exact text from a couple of sample renders Xerent made.

As for the fonts, they are SF Quartzite, Gentium Book Basic, and Gentium Book Basic Italic.

However, you do know I provide fonts, right? They are in the very first linked download on my template index, broken up according to template.

And now, even though they were already hosted elsewhere, I've rehosted Yu-Gi-Oh. This does include a new standard with newly done frames, including XYZ. It also includes all previous custom styles, all checked and error free. Some did have console errors - those have been fixed.

And of course, compiled into two convenient installers - "official" and "complete".

Oh, and fonts too.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but does anyone have the previously posted Stargate templates, Babylon 5 templates, and the Star Wars template, by any chance? My computer crashed last week and I lost all of the templates I had for the set editor and the website won't let me access the links it has. Please let me know. Thanks in advance!!

Don't have stargate at all, I think. There's a slim chance I might. I have a star wars CCG template, but it must be an older version, as it has BIG errors and is at the moment non-functional.

Nearly all of the old templates on here were hosted on another site that has gone down. You'll find a good portion of those things on Pichoro's hosting, and a few on the site (try searching if you can't find something, it might still be around).

Sorry, I made the same typo here that I did on the Rage forums. Anyway, now with fonts:

http://www.werepenguin.com/rage/rage-mse-files.zip
(19MB)

The reason it's so big is that the shiny New template uses images that are 500x700, not the small size used for Magic. It's because I want to be able to have big images available on the site and that was the size used for the CCG Workshop. If somebody wants to tinker, I'll be delighted and happy to rehost.

Thanks for rehosting the B5 template A happy smile

Edit: I'm still around, but mainly doing design on the Rage forums. We're just sourcing art for the final set of Call of the Sea (we've done gribbly tentacle things, weresharks and now werewolves, vampires etc on boats). Next up, some good old werewolves vs the Wyrm.

I estimate that I can reduce that file size to 13.7MB without compromising on image quality or size. I'll actually follow through a bit later. A happy smile

Anyway, I've just put up three new Magic templates: Idle Muse's Intense Horizontal Style, the 4th Edition style by B1234, and my Portal style.

I also split the largest installer, "Other Custom Styles", into four installers, giving Art_Freak, Idle Muse, and B1234 their own installers.

Spoiler:

Edit: Navypiper? I do seem to have a Stargate template. It's not yet ready for release, as I've never loaded it up, even once, to verify it to be error free. But I'll do so this weekend and post it when ready. There will be a message in this thread about it when it is available.

Edit: Now Stargate is up, but as I've never played before, I'm unsure of how complete the template is. *shrug* It is what I have, though.

Hey, Pichoro? Is this the type of thing you need for the fuse templates?

There's a bit of a blend problem at the bottom where "Fuse" normally is written, though. (I've no idea how to blend those together)

That is poor quality - you can see the pixellyness. Looks like someone just blew up the original blanked image. It needs to be a nice large image originally, and then blanked.

I honestly have no idea what more professional people do to blank images. I just figured that since Pichoro needs the templated, I'd might as well give it a shot.
And to be honest, I did just blow up the original image. Let me try this again; I hope to be helpful if at all possible.

Well, if this doesn't help I'll just give up. I don't feel like trying to edit the blue side to get rid of that artist name again.
Also, this time I decided on Turn and Burn because I simply like it better.

Okay. Now, I'll have to doctor it a little myself, but that, I could do something with. They'll be a little on the small side, but not nearly so bad.

If you're up to the others, I'll use those. The bad news is I'll end up needing each color for each side.
