It isn't just you. An excerpt from the starting post:

Magic-new-hires's typeline will cease to function. I'm sorry, but I cannot in good faith bring myself to support magic-new-hires due to concerns I have about it encouraging proxying. So I don't intend to provide a fix for it.
...

I also give specific instructions to make a backup of it, then remove it during the installation of these templates.

Derp, I was going to use it for a new set, having the hires maked for much better printouts. Also, why would people use MSE for proxies, why would anyone go out of their way to retype the card, snatch a scan online (mind you, only the artwork scan, not the whole card, because in that case, they could just use that to print... etcetera?

Beats me, but they do. I'm sorry. As I've told others, I can't and won't stop you from altering magic-new-hires to continue functioning. I simply won't support it by doing so for you. I may not be "staff" anymore, but I will still act in the best interest of MSE, and I don't think that template was ever in its best interest.

Got it, oh well, I was altering the template anyway to fix the land issues.

Madness) Because most scans online are of low quality, making proxies made with them glaringly obvious. MSE allows for higher-quality proxies, which is why everyone here comes down hard on anyone asking for objects whose sole purpose is ease of proxying (card backs, existing set symbols, etc.).

I'm either much better at searching than most people, or people is just dumb. :|

I just know we had trouble before with people abusing the regular size renders from MSE - I can only imagine with the hires ones.

Personally, I'm not gonna lie - I have my own "hires" template. But it's my personal template that I don't distribute.

The new notation for Phyrexian mana doesn't seem to work in the mana costs of Futureshifts (and nor does the old notation); the symbols turn into regular mana symbols, and altering them by any other means doesn't work anymore. I remember Futureshifts didn't support Phyrexian mana until its mana font was updated, but reinstalling that update caused MSE to crash whenever you tried to save or close it.

Any chance of getting this fixed?

To be blunt, it didn't work. I had not installed Phyrexian mana or Transformers before this, so that may be the problem. However, I have been unable to find the downloads for those anyway.

I copied all the files for the DFC planeswalkers just fine. I chose "Copy and Replace" as opposed to "Do not Change" when asked what to do about multiple files. I also did the same for Modern Extra. However, nothing changed within the Set Editor program. Everything is the exact same as it was before.

What did I do wrong?

as jrzman said bout the creature dfc that becomes a planeswalker i would like to see something like that as well.

And i think i have an answer on how you may do so. and it is indeed quite simply adding 2 drop-down boxes to the style tab labeled "Left" and "Right" and only 2 options "Normal" and "Planeswalker". by changing the contents of say the right side from "Normal" to "Planeswalker" the night side gains the night side template of the Planewalker dfc while the left side which is left at "Normal" stays as a normal Day side card. the default for these 2 drop boxes would be normal. and only 1 template has to be shown on the template select.

just a thought.

or is it more complex of a fix than that?

Can we lock this thread, which seems to be pure bot-bait?

Yeah, doing exactly that. This thread really is a bot magnet for some reason..
