Explorers of Arcavelon Age of Arcavelon Block At it's simplest, AoA was all about the transformation from an unexplored world into a settled and industrious nation. Its roots come from tales such as the colonization of America. I wanted to define places within Arcavelon which you would slowly see change and transform. Many errors at the start were in building both top-down and bottom-up parts at the same time. I felt that Explorers was not stable enough to support the mechanics and grandeur of the future Settlers and Lords sets. Therefore, AoA as a block is being reworked and redefined. But worry not, your hard work and advice will not have gone to waste of course! Many of the cards will remain though perhaps modified or slightly changed. The Mechanics PRIMARY MECHANIC Hue- If the last spell cast before this one was <color>, <effect> Usually this would be a replacement effect, a secondary effect or an activation requirement on abilities. Hue came from a desire to see a "colors matter" theme but as the set continued, I realized that is was hard to balance it out. It is a very unstable mechanic as it is very easy to set up and then again, very easy to disrupt. As well, it forced player's to have to remember another condition. Yet, I still wish to use this but I will see how this evolves. NEW AND EXPANDED MECHANICS Arcavelon, the World

As for the rest of the previews, I propose a little game to anyone interested. I'll present two choices each time and every day, the choice with the highest amount of votes will be selected.
Day 653 aboard the WFS Highdrake: Our ships are battered, broken and almost no longer seaworthy. Ahead though, upon the beautiful horizon, lies Arcavelon, our salvation. The question still remains where we make port. Using my spyglass I spot two possible locations, both of which will have to be scouted before we can make an official anchorage.
Make a landing in Kaleviss Fjord or make a landing in Hope's Bay?
Cinematt/Captain of Nephalia Collection [Set Hub]
I vote for Kaleviss Fjord.
I think that the supplies have "Sacrifice this artifact: Add
to your mana pool.)
Also, I didn't see Bloodthirst on your mechanics list, but it was on a card. You know it's not evergreen, right?

Firstly, I hope the ten keywords are spread throughout the three sets, because if they're all in the first one, it ought to be very large, otherwise there are just too many.
Noahlotr said a point about bloodthirst - unless it's one of your unrevealed, returning keywords.
And Thousand Night Ritual is broken. Rather than "lose 5 life", it would need "lose the game". Two mana should never get your more than three. Dark Ritual got you too much, Cabal Ritual is far too good. This is like having both combined, for only 5 life. Who needs life, when your combo goes off turn one? Needs a rethinking.
Other than that, however, looking through the cards, they look honestly amazing, very well designed. Not sure what the artifacts do yet, I think noahlotr might have it, but I hope not as they'd be too close to the Eldrazi Spawn tokens.
: CARDNAME deals 1 damage..." should be:
: CARDNAME deals 1 damage..."
One thing is your syntax, you need separate non-keyword abilities on separate lines - "Deathtouch,
"Deathtouch
Also, the card that appears on is too good, it's literally an Avatar of Woe. Consider Royal Assassin when you make it.
Lastly, I really like the way you set it out, with the journal kinda thing going. I like this. Good job.

@Noahlotr and Anuttymous Thanks a lot for looking over what I've done so far. I'm having a lot of fun designing this set. To begin with, fear not, the keywords and recurring keywords are spread throughout the set.
1) To begin with, I want to right off the bat correct a few things. Supply will no longer be keyworded as I felt that not enough cards use it. And yes, it was originally simply artifacts with the Eldrazi Spawn ability as I felt an expedition would be justified in having supplies and additional resources to aid them. I'd like to debate this concept and am open to ideas to replace it.
2) As for the Syntax, I know exactly how it goes on cards, just felt like saving space on the board when I posted the card. I will correct them and post them synthatically (which is not a word but whatever).
3) Yup, Thousand Night Ritual is too good. Was thinking too much in vacuum here. Going to go modify it on the original post in a few second.
4) And I had originally looked at Avatar of Woe before making this card. For the cost of Avatar of Woe, you get not only a death machine but a 6/5 Fear that can potentially cost only
. I feel that for
a 1/1 that actually has to deal the damage to kill, meaning it's useless against damage prevention, "darksteel", power reducing abilities etc made it fine the way it is. Like all my cards, each one is up to debate and modification.
5) Ah, Bloodthirst. I went along with the assumption that as an included-in-a-core-set it was fine to put them on cards. That is my mistake. Nevertheless, it's ability is exactly Bloodthirst so I feel iffy about not keywording it. Any ideas?
6) As for Wandering Fleet Vessel, I was thinking of making it uncommon. Ships are going to be a useful creature type and Islandwalk will certainly help as a few Land type affecting cards are in the works but I feel as it isn't powerful enough.
7) Landing in Kaleviss Fjord
8)Continue to reinforce the camp or send scouts out into the nearby mountains? (Jan. 10th
Previews)
Cinematt/Captain of Nephalia Collection [Set Hub]
Loving the set so far, you have a magic touch in balancing costs and effects. A couple points:
Anchorage Bay Cutthroat is too powerful, as Anuttymous said. Avatar of Woe can (and in a well-built deck should) cost
, but is still CMC 8 otherwise. Maybe make the damage-dealing conditional? Something like "
, Discard a card: Anchorage Bay Cutthroat deals 1 damage to target creature." That might balance out the slight bleed of damage-dealing (usually Red's shtick) into black. Add a mana cost (preferably
) and you've got a wonderful Human Assassin Spellshaper.
Expedition Supplier should probably only drop a single Supply. As is, it's better than most Eldrazi Spawn summoners, and in a slightly off color.
Salvation Stores is a beautiful way of executing Ventifact Bottle -esque mana ramp, well done! Although the mana cost is probably better as

Bloodthirst shouldn't be on a card unless it's a keyword in the set, so I suggest wording Bloodscarred Chosen's first ability as "If an opponent was dealt damage this turn, Bloodscarred Chosen enters the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it and has haste until end of turn." The haste is hardly overpowered with Goblin Guide running about, and sets the ability further apart from looking like a crude copycat of bloodthirst.
Anuttymous said everything that needed to be said about Thousand Night Ritual.
I'm in love with Kaleviss Drake. It combines the abilities and strengths of the two colors in a way few french vanillas do. Sweet.
Deepfjord Leviathan is pretty much a Inkwell Leviathan, except not an artifact and with shroud updated to hexproof, and thus better. Maybe a bit too good.
The rest are A-OK as far as I can see. Let's send those scouts on the mountains, maybe we'll find red creatures
The sparkmage shrieked, calling on the rage of the storms of his youth. To his surprise, the sky responded with a fierce energy he'd never thought to see again.
@ Cancelion Thanks again for your support guys, this means a lot to me!
1) I've decided to go ahead and rework Anchorage Bay Cutthroat like you said, adding both a discard card effect and a red mana cost. This also allows a way to stick certain cards in the graveyard which I know some cards in this set and especially in the later sets will appreciate.
2) Expedition Supplier is changed to producing a single token. I just realized what bouncing/flickering this baby does.
3) Salvation Stores changed to
to keep the white-color theme as only the Expedition really uses the Supply artifact tokens.
4) I like the haste on Bloodscarred Chosen. Only helps to make it that much stronger.
5) Thousand Night Ritual was actually fixed yesterday night. I don't know if you're talking about the new one or the old one. I reckoned the new one was fine.
6) Kaleviss Drake is also one of my favorite french vanilla creatures and I'd love to run this card for real.
7) Deepfjord = Inkwell. I simply changed shroud to hexproof and dropped the toughness by 1. Seems no more broken than adding
to the cost of Darksteel Colossus and giving it Infect.
Cinematt/Captain of Nephalia Collection [Set Hub]
What I actually thought supply might be was gain1 life or target gets +1/+1. However, they're all a bit simple. Why not... "Sacrifice this artifact: You gain 1 life; or target creature gets +0/+1 {power boost would be too powerful}; or add
to your mana pool." You'd have to make sure they're well balanced.
I see your point with Avatar of Woe, but try comparing it to a more recent one - Royal Assassin. For themost part, yours does better as it can hit untapped things. I'd say it needs to be 4 mana. The suggested change is nice, though at rare, with the discard disadvantage, he could be 2 mana, easily.
It has been a common problem, that people think scry and bloodthirst are evergreen. Wizards do these silly things, just to throw us off, I swear. Could have a Stromkirk Noble effect, but for any damage, not just combat. Would need to be a bit more expensive, though.
For Ships, what I think would be nice would be to have them as land, which isn't entirely absurd, seeing as you would use it as a stable place to stand. White = airships over the plains, blue = ships at sea, black = swamp-traversing ships, red = lava-proof, green = no ships? You get the idea. This way, you don't make odd ship creatures, that could be difficult.
I must say, the Leviathan is a bit too similar to Inkwell. Maybe give it some changes otherwise players would find it rather boring?
Thousand Night Ritual a nice change, but make it black creature (to avoid Memnite making free mana) and it could be uncommon. Also, the rare that gives islandwalk ought to be common, really. It's not very impressive as a defender.
Oh, and that's a really nice picture, good job finding it. Be nice to see the card it's on.

@ Anuttymous Hey there my friend.
1) I really like your supply token ideas but it makes for some very wordy cards indeed. I was thinking perhaps of having the Supply artifact tokens do nothing, but have cards use them in different ways. One creature can use them to gain life, one to put +1/+1 counters, etc. What do you think?
2) We just balanced out Anchorage Bay Cutthroat. Let me know what you think of the new one. Edit: For
he'd be ok?
3) Bloodscarred Chosen also reworded. Also made its second ability hit all players to balance it out more.
4) I like your Ships = Lands but the problem I find with that is (for now) there are no airships. Yes this was totally a sneak peek at a future set but oh well. I actually need Ships to be creatures but I just wanted to know how they should work exactly. The theme is of course they grant evasion type abilities but I'll keep working on them and if a change needs to be implemented I'll come back to it.
5) It's really supposed to be an Inkwell but with hexproof to fit the Fjord's flavor. Just letting you know, my cards work like that. For example, most cards that implicate Arcavelon's fjords will be usually
or
and have hexproof or something similar.
6) Any vote on where the expedition goes to next Anuttymous?

Actually, and I hate to be a letdown, but unlike your wonderful set my set does not use pictures (like jrzman's sets). I used to use pictures but personally I found the either limiting or time-consuming to find. Therefore my sets are pictureless. (It's also less costly on my printer when I print them to playtest.)
1) Aside from that I missed your black creature sacrifice modification and I'm fine with it. I also have a
costing card in the works and this will fix it.
2) I'll update the new cards tonight but while I'm here I'll throw a new one your way just because you're all such great helpers.
Cinematt/Captain of Nephalia Collection [Set Hub]
I think it decently costed there, I wouldn't say there's a need to make it more expensive. I mean, look at Whispersilk Cloak.
Shame about the pictures. I would say, if you want to submit it as a custom set (which would be a nice thing) you'll need at least four cards, I think, for the preview-ey ones.

@ Anuttymous By submit you mean like that weird little tab on the left with a few sets in it? I thought you needed at least 20% art and I don't have that so I really was just going to make my set and just upload it with the link on this page and maybe a hub page for when the next two sets are finished.

@Noahlotr I have the cards premade, some still in the works and some still blank in the set file. What I have done though is plan them by place/event so that when you people vote for the next place to go, I have the five cards to show you.
And, now that you mention it, I have the next card suite to reveal to you!
Send the scouts out into the nearby mountains
Begin exploring the depths of the nearby marshlands or begun harvesting the nearby resources?
Cinematt/Captain of Nephalia Collection [Set Hub]
Hurray, mountains!
Anchorage Bay Cutthroat is great at
, that makes him a lot more competitive and cool. The "Discard a card" should probably be a part of the cost (see the spellshapers for an effect like that) but works as is.
Didn't notice the -1 toughness on Deepfjord, although it seems a small change for such a big creature. I think it's pretty balanced as is, suits the flavor well too.
The new Thousand Night Ritual is quite fantastic, was talking about the old one.
Hue is my new favourite keyword. Pyreplume is also a nicely balanced Lightning Bolt, something Galvanic Blast failed at. Timberline Colossal is a wonderful rare as well.
Keep up the great work! A bother about the pictures though, but I know well enough how time- (and patience-) consuming skimming the net for fitting art is. I vote for resource harvesting
The sparkmage shrieked, calling on the rage of the storms of his youth. To his surprise, the sky responded with a fierce energy he'd never thought to see again.
@ Cancelion Thanks again for following up on the set. Means worlds to me.
1) Anchorage Bay Cutthroat. I felt the discard could be in the effect as if you're going no-hander he's still capable of using his ability. In fact, he encourages a hellbent/madness strategy.
2) Glad you like Hue. Was honestly wondering what the initial reactions would be. I figure tracking the last spell played isn't too hard (we're already tracking if two or more spells were played anyway thanks to the DFC) and I felt it encourages playing the colors. Opponents can mildly disrupt Hue by using Instants and Flash creatures to change the Hue color at the last second too. There's actually a card built for this in the second set.
3) Galvanic Blast was OP in my opinion and I didn't want rampant 4 in a row Pyreplumes which dealt 4 each simply because you played them one after the other.
4) Timeberline Colossal is fun and as you notice it's Hue matches both of it's colors, as will most, if not all cards from this first set.
5) And yeah, the pictures may be a small letdown but they never stopped me from enjoying other sets. If I feel the need I may try and find the 20% minimum to get the set onto the featured set list.
6) And that's 1 vote for the resources.
Cinematt/Captain of Nephalia Collection [Set Hub]
I'd love to see this in featured sets, because honestly, it already shows more promise than some of the previous sets there. Good point on Anchorage, he's perfect as he is. Never even thought of disrupting Hue like that, makes it just that much more special.
One point on Timberline Colossal: at the moment, it doesn't take multicolored
spells into account; this can be fixed by removing the word "instead".
The sparkmage shrieked, calling on the rage of the storms of his youth. To his surprise, the sky responded with a fierce energy he'd never thought to see again.
@ Cancelion Oh gosh, thanks for noticing the instead clause. I added it in by pure habit without realizing the problem with multi-color cards which do exist as you can tell from Timberline Colossal himself ><. Going to go fix that right away.
Actually there's a second fix I need to make to the card I believe. Let's see if you can catch it.
Cinematt/Captain of Nephalia Collection [Set Hub]
"As" should probably be replaced with "When", but beyond that I can't see anything wrong
By the by, I happened upon a wondeful picture for Anchorage:
by Obrotowy
I'd actually love to help you find pictures for the rest of the set as well, if you need aid with it
The sparkmage shrieked, calling on the rage of the storms of his youth. To his surprise, the sky responded with a fierce energy he'd never thought to see again.
@ Celianon Actually, the "As" was the change I did make (it was that or "When you cast" because of the Hue clause. It checks the last spell played, meaning when the creature enters the battlefield, the last spell played would be itself no? I need it to check the previous, meaning it still has to be a spell when Hue triggers.
I love the artwork and I will copy it down into a temporary folder. I won't implement it just yet but if and when I decide to fill the 20% of the set with artwork I'll let you know.

Do we delve into the subterranean caverns and grottoes or do we set up observation posts in the forests?
Cinematt/Captain of Nephalia Collection [Set Hub]
I like this set, and I have a couple if things to say.
- Lifegain effects are worded as "You gain…"
- Silverstrand Shells seems too much to me. Maybe making it discard a card too?
- The cards that interact with supplies should read "Cost, Sacrifice a Supply: Do something." The token part is nit necessary, and seeing as no creature would be a Supply, the Artifact part shouldn't be necessary.
I vote for setting up posts.I'm back! I survived the Eater of Days!
@ Sohel
1) Thanks again for the life gain, I'm pretty good with wording but I make errors sometimes too ^^
2) I compared Silverstrand Shells' power to Azure Mage (
: Draw a card.) Mine costs

and you need a Supply in the first place and it's usable only once per turn. Still open for debate.
3) Thank you! Yup, didn't realize I could just have it sac Supplies as indeed it is the only one with that type ^^. Dancing off to fix it!
4) And one vote for setting up the observation posts.
Cinematt/Captain of Nephalia Collection [Set Hub]
I actually meant the "enters the battlefield" part… One-mana effects that draw cards aren't common in common, I believe.
Edit: And the black and red Supply-sacrificing artifacts are very similar...
I'm back! I survived the Eater of Days!
@ Sohel Technically every single cantrip does it no?
Draw a card seems roughly equal to
Deal 2 damage?
, Supply sac is fine for 2 damage. Though I might be willing to change the activation cost to
...
EDIT: And oops, the red is supposed to blast players. Let me fix that. And I feel
Cinematt/Captain of Nephalia Collection [Set Hub]

@ Sohel hmmm... I'm not to sure what to do about Silverstrand. It feels fine for now but I'll playtest a bit with it and if it's doing too good I'll fix it to do something else.
And for Dragoncore Iron, should the cost be
or
?
Cinematt/Captain of Nephalia Collection [Set Hub]
I personally think that
is fine… I'm tot completely sure, however.
I'm back! I survived the Eater of Days!
@ Sohel Alright then, we'll just leave it like that. Still waiting to see if maybe Jeske or one of the other tough critiques out there are going to glance and see how the balance is.
Cinematt/Captain of Nephalia Collection [Set Hub]
I really like Cetzan Firecrafter. It, alongside Avacyn's Pilgrim, are really fun and creative mana-dorks.
The Supply gimmick is interesting! I'm glad to see that the white member of the cycle has nice, healthy life-gain -- a lot of people overestimate life-gain, but you've got it good.
We still haven't seen any actual Supply-makers, I might add. I'd like to see how they are made. You've got a lot of cards that reference them, so the producers of Supplies should be prevalent.
You could make them a subtype of Artifacts, and have your common cycle cost a bit more and be Supply as well, allowing them to be exhausted in moments of need?
Also: Observation posts.
@Inanimate Thanks for popping in here and helping out.
1) Supply producers were shown at the very beginning (very first post in the spoilers.)
2) Supplies are actually Supply artifact tokens. Sohel realized that cards which use the Supply artifact tokens don't need to actually say artifact or token.
3) By Jimmy that's a grand idea! The five shall be made into Supplies as well and I'll add
to their cost. Didn't even think about that =_= And really I should have seeing what Supplies will continue to do in the following sets!
4) And that's a second vote for the observation posts!
Cinematt/Captain of Nephalia Collection [Set Hub]
Oh, sorry. I missed the Supply producers. I checked all the posts after the first one... silly old me.
2012-01-11 16:11: Noahlotr and Anuttymous said that bloodthirst is not evergreen when it is, anythig that apears in a core set is. Ability activation costs should read {mana},{tap/untap}, then pure text costs; you have the text in the middle.

As for the artwork I'll see, I'm still of a mind to let the imagination do the art.
@Inanimate Yeah the first post had a bit of stuff there too and when the previews are done, every previewed card will go up there too.
EDIT: So that's 3 for Outposts and 1 for Subterra (So far that's the most votes I've ever had on this xD!)
Cinematt/Captain of Nephalia Collection [Set Hub]
Reality Glitch, bloodthirst is not evergreen. Scry isn't evergreen, and it appeared in M11. The current trend is to have a small appearance of a flavorful keyword in every new core-set, to add interest for dedicated players, and to add more spice to the limited format.
But I read the article about it as well and it said it is a new core keyword. I don't remember scry in M11 though.
Vriok, A custom set by Reality Glitch and Anuttymous
@ Inanimate and Reality Glitch I checked and rechecked, Bloodthirst and Scry are indeed not core keywords. The article shows hexproof as a new evergreen word but it simply states there will be bloodthirst in M12 but doesn't name it as evergreen. Therefore Bloodscarred Chosen's wordings will have to stay the same as Bloodthirst does not show up in my set and I rather like the addition of haste to it.
EDIT: Aside from that, any other cards you think need work? Any kind of card you'd be interested in seeing?

Fulminating Pyreheart should be:
"Whenever a source you control would deal damage to a creature or player this turn, if the last spell cast was red, it deals double that damage to that creature or player instead."
In fact, all permanents with Hue should be worded "If the last spell cast was ___" as opposed to how it's worded now. It isn't "played" anymore; all spells are "cast".
Omenfires could be called "Rallying Shot" or "Rallying Strike" -- the first attack inspires every one else!
Whiteplume Diver could stand to have a higher toughness. I think that'd be fine at, say, 1/3 or 1/2?
Trailblaze should definitely put it onto the battlefield tapped. That is an easy condition to fulfill in a green deck, I think.
@ Inanimate
1) Absolutely right about Hue, I'm off to reword them as soon as I finish this xD
2) Omenfires is a Cetzan card (just means I see it used by them and not the Expedition). And in my mind Omenfires means well, a fire that brings an omen, and it certainly seems like a good one as everyone is fired up. (no pun intended). I'll see if the wording can be changed but I'm trying to stay away from words like rally and such as that goes with warfare... of which sets 2 and 3 will be glad to talk about.
3) Whiteplume Diver is based off Junk Diver but I'll see to giving it an extra point of toughness.
4) Trailblaze is like Hue's version of Caravan Vigil. Both seems reasonably easy to trigger and Hue requires either your opponent to be playing green, or for you to have exhausted some resources in both cards and mana to get Hue triggered to green.
Thanks a lot for the feedback Inanimate and don't forget to vote for the next previews! As well, there's a bunch of new ones at the top in the compiled spoiler.
Cinematt/Captain of Nephalia Collection [Set Hub]
In general, you cards are well balanced. I won't bother with individual card critique, as that'll take a while, and the others have already provided excellent help in that department. So, I'll address the set as a whole. One major issue I see with the set is that two of ts mechanics encourage linear deck construction, much like Kamigawa did with soulshift and splice onto Arcane (the splice mechanic itself is pretty modular, but the way it was implemented was, unfortunately, not quite as flexible).
Aggression, like splice onto Arcane, forces linear deck construction, though it's not as bad as splice onto Arcane was about it. Your deck's instants and sorceries were either all Arcane spells, or none of them were. The same goes for aggression. Your creatures will either all have aggression, or none of them will.
A more recent example of a keyword that encourages linear deck construction is infect. Infect could sort of get away with forcing really linear deck construction because yay poison counters, but it still wasn't a good thing. MaRo himself stated that the linearity of infect was a problem. Still, an alternate win condition is always fun and unique. Aggression, on the other hand, doesn't have that "wow" factor that infect has. I'm not saying it's a bad keyword or anything, but people were pretty content making infect decks. I'm not sure how excited people will be with designing aggression decks.
Maybe ... Aggression (Whenever this creature attacks, it gets +1/+0 for each other attacking creature.), or something like that. Judging by the setting, I'm guessing creatures with aggression are supposed to apply pressure to the explorers, and this does just that. And, of course, you can fit a card with aggression into any creature-heavy deck.
Your supply artifact tokens have the same problem, except, as far as I can tell, to a much greater degree. You either have lots of supply token generators / users or none at all. At least with aggression, your creatures could still attack or block. You can't really do much with supply tokens if you can't use them.
A good way to tell whether or not a mechanic is linear is to ask yourself : how useful is the card that hoses this mechanic outside of limited? Abandon Supplies, for example, would be near-useless outside of limited. A card that hoses aggression would be anything that removes creatures from the battlefield.
Purify the Grave, on the other hand, hoses those cute little Skaab decks and decks with Boneyard Wurms and Splinterfrights. It's also pretty useful outside of limited. There are probably better examples, but I hope you get the idea.
Hope that helped.

I'd definitely put the mana gain back into the Supply tokens, otherwise they become, as Sewn-Eye aptly put it, vacuumed to a huge extent. His points about aggression are valid too (god I hate infect; ruined casual for me for a loooong time...)
Dreadtide is sweet. Reminds me of Glimpse the Unthinkable, only with more fitting colors; I don't like black milling.
No problem with Abandoned Supplies; most sets have a niché card that works with the set. Besides, it cantrips.
Warrior-Caste Tombrisen is a pretty weak card, compared to Warpath Ghoul and the like, but I'm a great fan of slightly sub-par creatures (I used to have a Mindless Null in my zombie deck. No, really.) Maybe cost it at
?
Fenrot Affliction is just golden.
Trailblaze is problematic as it is easier to meet it's conditions; Caravan Vigil, while powerful, was more useful when splashing black, as green has neither creature destruction nor sacrifice by itself. "Comes into play tapped" should balance it out, as Inanimate said. Furthermore, Trailblazer is the name of a card already - the two might be a bit too close.
I'd make the Cetzan Dusk-Archers deal 3 damage to a flying creature without the attacking clause. Attack/block hate is more white's slice of the metaphorical pie. As is, it would also be nice as a
creature, but from what I've gathered the Cetzans are hardly white.
Into the temple we go, I want to see more natives!
The sparkmage shrieked, calling on the rage of the storms of his youth. To his surprise, the sky responded with a fierce energy he'd never thought to see again.
@ Sewn-Eye Thanks for looking my set over ^^
1) I rather like your form of Aggression. It means you have a wider variety of card to play and combo with so I believe I will switch to your method.
2) As for the Supply theme, there are still cards to be revealed and almost every color has ways of producing them. Though I have noticed that cards that need the tokens seems subpar if you don't run them but, in my opinion, if you're running cards with Metalcraft you're obligated to run artifacts. Granted, they're a bigger gamut of cards than just the Supplies. Thereforfe, I'll see to making them have lesser abilities without the supplies, but better if you have them, making them useful even when you have no supplies. If in the end it still doesn't seem to be working I'll envision a major change but I'd rather keep them as cards in the later sets use them as well.
3) Abandon Supplies is a black cantrip, and can draw you a card even when you're not playing against anyone with Supplies. If you are it's just an added bonus.
4) You didn't vote for the next reveals!
@Cancelion Thanks for sticking with this set and providing feedback!
1) Dreadtide was my way of getting a better mono-blue mill card. It's not the only mill card so be ready!
2) Warrior-Caste Tombrisen could indeed be costed
. The can't block should balance it.
3) Trailblazer is an instant? =_= Oh well, I'll rename it to Unhindered Exploration and make the land enter the battlefield tapped, because after playtesting it, I did find that it was easier to keep causing green Hue then killing stuff.
4) Cetzan Dusk-Archers are based off Femeref Archers which as a Tenth Edition is still quite recent. And I'm really trying to not put too many multicolor as Hue becomes rather brutal when your creatures have multiple colors (as the second/third set will reveal)
5) One vote for Cetzan temples!

@ Reality Glitch And that's another vote for the remains. I might even have the complete set revealed within one or two days as I'm already at 127/260 cards designed and I have nothing else to do xD

Can I suggest ideas for cards if there are spots open.
