probably super n00b question, but how do you get "1/2" to appear in the power and toughness boxes like on real cards?

Click on the area where the p/t box would usually be (bottom right) if it isn't there already, and type 1/2. If you can't find the box, you'll be able to see it if you enable "show lines around fields" under preferences in the edit menu.

ahh, thanks. I found it now.
So now second question, is there a Leveler type that will allow fraction "one/two" on it? the only levelers I got won't allow symbols in the p/t area.

There is currently no lever template that allows one half in the P/T box.

I just type "½". Sure the divider line isn't horizontal, but it works.
