Card of the Week Contest: Round 6
|Sun, 2011-01-16 06:08|
This week we'll be doing something a little different. This week we're going to pay homage to a classic movie: Disney's Robin Hood. What I want you to do is submit your idea of a card representing either one of the heroes or a card representing one of the villains. The final stipulation is that the card must be a creature card. Two winners will be determined by the poll - the best hero, and the best villain - and both will go on the front page. There will be no runner-ups this week.
Now, I realize that Disney is not everyone's first choice, but come on, most of us, if not all of us, grew up on these films, and this one features so many unique animals and classic fantasy classes that I'm certain you'll be able to create some very interesting entries.
For those unfamiliar with the film, you can actually watch it on youtube, and here is the first part:

Rules (failure to follow the following will result in automatic disqualification):
*) All entries should be in the following format (if you are unfamiliar with BBcode, click here):
Something like this with all the info in place:
Hero of Fables
This rule is not mandatory and not following it will not disqualify you, but it is a suggestion and would make my job easier and if this does become a serious issue, it will also become a rule. Just a heads up and a polite request that we don't get to where it needs to be a rule.
This week I will be giving out no warnings for violating the contest rules. If you violate them, I'm not going to waste my breath on it, I just won't include your entry in the poll at the end of the week.
The entry deadline is 11:59PM CST 01/22/11. Voting will last 1 day after that, so please be prepared to cast your vote!
