T'is lovely! I am a bit confused by the frame-within-a-frame, though. Is it intentional, or an unavoidable effect of the Magic game file?

Hah... You know, I asked the same thing. Have you ever looked at real ABU cards? Apparently, they have that "frame-within-a-frame". I hate it, but it is authentic...
Huh! I never noticed that before. Mind you, I've probably only held a half a dozen ABU cards, so that would be why. In that case, then, congratulations on your commitment to accuracy.

I think the template is Awesome, just wondering if there was any plan for adding phyrexian mana?

Cizzle) Phyrexian mana, like all other types of mana symbols, is dependent on the symbol-font, not the template itself.
@ Art_Freak: I like this template a lot, I always found ABU style the most awesome, it looks very solid and stable. Up to now, I have shifted more than 100 existing cards from newer sets (rewriting the text in old style is fun ). I realised some minor details that could be overworked to make it more authentic:
-the generic mana symbols have to small numbers (like post 1996) => increase font size
- make the text box for green cards a bit lighter and diminish the white shade for better readability
-in original ABU cards with short text (Demonic Tutor, Terror, basic lands) the text is very large. This largest size doesn't exist yet. => add size
I would be happy if you could fix these points, if it is possible. They seem so obvious to me that perhaps you realised them by yourself but couldn't do it better.

I think this one was relevant enough to be safe. Then again, I ain't a mod.
Online dictionaries abound. It's time to start using them.

Yeah, the necroposting rules on this forum are rather lenient. This has come up before (people telling others not to necropost), but it's not an issue. As long as it's still on-topic, it's fine.

Heh, I thought this was just released Maybe there should be a "like" button since I wouldn't be commenting unless I had something to complain about
It's really awesome still! So retro - posted a bunch of cards with it btw: http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=403102(check the spoilers)
So compare these two:
Spoiler:
This is about the green (nonland) cards:
- The textbox text is terrible to read compared to the actual alpha/beta/unlimited cards.
- Card name, card type, and pt texts are a lot brighter than in real cards (maybe not that bad )
- I think the textbox color is also a lot different(?).

In truth, you're complaining to the Wrong person about flaws in the frame. These frames were made by Xerent. The only thing he didn't do is the overly bright text. Real ABU cards have this printer dot pattern in the "white" text. But MSE can't add texture to text, so it was a no-go.
Awesome art choices, awesome template!
