I was anxious to make emblems for the planeswalkers in my set files, so I went ahead and whipped up a little something to tide myself over until Pich finishes his Poison Counter/Emblem style. I thought I'd share it with all of you, in case you're feeling equally anxious. Spoiler:
You can download it here, although I'm not cool enough to have a real installer file. Just unzip, copy, and paste, like we did in my day. Ya hoodlums! EDIT: I fixed a cosmetic error in the border of the white cards. |

Works and looks great.
Added to the Downloads page. Thanks for sharing!
Now, I know I'm going to sound a bit ungrateful, and bear in mind I do love the style...
But would it be possible to ditch the token-name font and maybe switch to a name & font that allows for non-alphanumerical characters? I'm thinking of using this not for poison counters, but for custom counters (i.e. those that are put on creatures) en generale (of which I'd have to do +1/+1 and -1/-1, which are the most common variants of counter), which I can't do with the name font set up the way it is.

I just want to make a note here for anyone wondering - we are still working on the counter style. In fact, several messages have been exchanged between A_F and I tonight on it, as well as three drafts of the template.

Nice!
Although the border corners on the white card look a bit strange.

As an aside, have we given much thought to the spacing in token names? I'm tired of having to put a dozen spaces between Faerie and Rogue to get Faerie Rogue instead of Faerierogue.

Last night we finished the counter template.
Now, just waiting for something particular before we release. The name font uses MPlantin, so it will allow any character that exists in that font.
As for the spacing on token names, I don't remember touching it, but I feel like "Faerie Rogue" gives me "Faerie Rogue". *shrug*
Also, would you consider making another alteration to the template? It may not make sense now, but will make lots more sense in a few days. Would you consider changing the "card_shape" script in the style from "token" to "counter"?
