You had me excited, I though it had been judged...
Even aside the fact that there are no Priest creatures, Gravemind Priest seems quite underpowered. I was thinking the card could read "When ETB, return a Cleric from a graveyard to the battlefield, then exile all graveyards, then draw a card." and even that might not be too good. (though maybe it would be just a little too good.) What I do like about this card however is that's a 2/4 w first strike which in itself is refreshing and the kind of stuff I was looking for.
ElmdorMesdoram:
Spoiler:
I think Firemind Apprentice is excellent and I like the tension going on between its ability and its toughness of only 3. (as well as the cantrip starting you off on its ability) With this card you were already poised to win were I to judge.
kiligir:
Spoiler:
Woodland Caller is a card that really made me think. I have seen it before in your own thread but I wasn't really keen on it for the fact that it can whiff. But to counteract this one could run a deck with only creatures or lands (with maybe 1-2 exceptions if they're worth it.) which would only make the Caller more rewarding to use. I was also wondering what's the point of reviving it if it would only award you with a mandatory kicker cost on the creature you would have drawn anyway, only to put a 2/2 creature into play. But if you reveal a land not a creature then you did good to planebound it. Anyway one thing also I like about this card is that it's exactly what I had in mind for this theme. It's simple.
Sewn-Eye:
Spoiler:
My first reaction to Sylverain Thoughpicker was that it's a 2/1 for 3 mana, which seems overcosted. But then I realized that its kicker ability has its sights squarely on Stroke of Genius but with a discard effect added as well. In either case the creature itself is not the emphasis of this card and not I think what the card will primarily be used for.
HudsonWolf:
Spoiler:
Stormbrewer Dragon is a nice setup, I like it. The setup itself is good. The card overall however seems inferior to Rorix Bladewing. If the ability whiffs you're paying 6 mana for a 4/4 flier. But those are strictly power level concerns, your heart was in the right place for the ability itself and is probably a good idea for a card in general.
ALEX Ryugami:
Spoiler:
Flamewild Mutant seems instantly overpowered. It's one thing if Talruum Minotaur was a cantrip but you're telling me I draw two cards not one? Oh but not if I reveal a creature, then it becomes a 5/4 with haste... and I still get to keep the card! I wonder if you think I'm the competitive type and that making a card like this will make you win. Well I do admire the effort also when I put power level concerns aside the mechanic you have going on here is fun. (Draw 2 vs. Draw 1 and +2/+2)
Anuttymous:
Spoiler:
Actually I didn't know about Ally's until I read your card and looked it up. So I'm not sure how well your card works with other allies, only that the card is not very good by itself, and at least doesn't seem like it would be used to attack. It might be a great addition to an Ally deck for all I know, but it doesn't get me excited.
Disposable Hero:
Spoiler:
This seems like an excellent mechanic. You could choose to discard nothing, or just the card you drew, or even your entire hand. The downsides to this card however are its mana cost, lack of evasion. Double strike does complement this card well since you're discarding each card for what is essentially a 2-power boost rather than 1.
Guitarweeps:
Spoiler:
Not sure if the two abilities on Sacredfell Baloth interact with each other since off hand I think the draw a card ability would always resolve first. (or your opponent could just wait for it to resolve first, and why wouldn't he) However as a 6 mana 6/6 haste trample it is pretty cool. (Note: If I was wrong in understanding how the card works, I apologize. Same goes to anyone who thinks I fell short in the judging. xD)
windandfire:
Spoiler:
Streetwalker Fright. Why not Three Tragedies then. Well this gives you the option of using it to block, as well as "cycling" it if it's destroyed. In that case I wonder why the card needs Incorpreal at all, since why not just give the player a choice to use it as a 3/4 creature (even to attack) and make the card have some flexibility that could always justify it over Three Tragedies. One other thing, though. Is Incorpreal an actual keyword? It seems it's not. You had me. because of your card I thought it actually existed, until the last minute I didn't consider the possibility that the keyword was made up.
lord_joakim:
Spoiler:
Ramhead Summoner seems to have quite heavy color requirements. Its ability is also pretty splashy, drawing a full 3 cards. I find myself not liking the second part, since it causes you to miss out on drawing 3 cards. The Through the Breach effect I don't see being very desirable unless the revealed card is like a dragon or something, but more often than not it will probably be like a 2/2. Oh, but you know what. Would be fun if the card you reveal is another Ramhead Summoner.
jrzman:
Spoiler:
Not excited about a 0/1. This card basically feels like it's meant to be a Sorcery, but with a 0/1 slapped on just to fit the requirements for this theme, or for some reason otherwise not known to me. Well I guess I should put in a few words for the effect itself. xD Well it seems very powerful. Compares to Tidings, Overwhelming Intellect. The Scry 6 makes it very easy, one could conceviably even run Darksteel Colossus in their deck just for this, which can always be Scry'ed away or discarded to the Compulsive Researches or Catalogs of the world.
kikushadowblades:
Spoiler:
I do see how Howling Guardian is a super cool card and that it should probably see print. It could probably stand to be 3 mana instead of 2 but I'm not sure if that would nerf the card. Anyway, what else to say.

Congrats!
@Wavy - You are right about my card. I had thought about a way to make it possible to draw the creature you searched up but they could always wait for it to resolve. I just now thought the an ETB trigger and then having the search go to your hand instead would have done the same thing...
@Wavy: Ha ha yeah you are right about my card was being too powerful. Actually I create it based of Bloodbraid Elf, and make it somewhat "more" powerful
And I like to cost cards aggressively and tournament-quality, I'm a Spike because I also like about card advantage things

Comments: there is a big problem. If you control an aura, Essence of Perfection gains Enchant something, and is put into a graveyard because it isn't enchanting anything! Am I correct?
Challenge: 9 red? Enchantments? But it's probably ok.
Balance: 8 with that high cost, it could have a bigger body. And maybe an anti-graveyard effect like Lorwyn avatars? (Guile) (uh, I meant Guile)
Beauty: 8 invincible? Demystify and Indrik Stomphowler don't agree. The above fix would help the flavor of an incorruptible, invincible force.

Defender
Deathtouch
Whenever ~ blocks a creature, draw a card, that creature's controller gets a Poison counter and put a +1/+1 counter on ~.
3/3
Comments: interesting defender. Your opponent should attack from the sky to avoid this thing. "This may block an additional creature for each +1/+1 counter on it" may be another nice effect (a growing plant that surrounds the battlefield!), but it will probably make Rhododiedron too powerful and/or wordy.

Will of the Saints

Convoke (Each creature you tap while casting this spell reduces its cost by 1 or by one mana of that creature’s color.)
Deal 5 damage to target creature.
If was used to pay the cost, also deal 5 damage to each creature that shares a color with that creature.
If :symB. was used to pay the cost, also gain 5 life.
Comments: convoke and hybrid mana are original and cool. But its effects are not... your card only deals some damage, while black and white want to do other things. Also, you don't deal damage, Will of the Saints do. And white, this card's main color, usually don't deal damage.
Challenge: 8
Balance: 8 I think that RR effect is much stronger than BB one.

2/3
Comments: Enwar is cool because it mimics Unholy Power and Holy Power, but I think that it should also gain abilities like lifelink or haste (like Morphling or Cloudreaver). Faltering Fealty is a nice addition to Menace effects. And it's an instant! Pygmy Recluse is horrible (see Deadly Recluse), except for flavor text. Equal Footing is an awesome Balance variant, and the added discard/draw increase its mythic feeling but makes it very powerful. Morua is small for a chimera; and i don't like mana producing legendaries, they look weak (I hate my Radha). Haste and defender are good, but less exciting than the Homunculus from Future Sight...
Challenge: 8.5 half point lost for the Recluse. Deathtouch is green, rarely black, never white...
