To keep me going with my current set, as well as keep a record of my own evergreen and custom mechanics.

Custom Evergreen
All current evergreen mechanics are included, unless specified otherwise.

Arcane
Colours: Blue mana symbol(Primary) White mana symbolRed mana symbol(Secondary) Black mana symbolGreen mana symbol(Tertiary)
Debut: Kamigawa Block
Additional Information: A subtype of instants and sorceries. It is not much liked due to being 'parasitic', only appearing in one block, and Splice onto Arcane taking up a large part of a card's design. While not parasitic in and of itself, Splice makes it so. Splice is unlikely to show up until a decent amount of Arcane cards have been printed in my sets, and only then it will not appear at common.

Spell Mastery
Colours: Blue mana symbol and Red mana symbol(Primary) Black mana symbol(Secondary)
Debut: Magic Origins
Additional Information: A pseudo-keyword which grants benefits to a spell if there are two or more instant and/or sorcery cards in your graveyard. In my sets, it may appear on a few creatures, working much like Delirium. It is simply a way to encourage the use of instants and sorceries, while allowing slightly stronger cards at lower mana costs.

Custom Mechanics

Martyrdom
Colours: White mana symbolBlack mana symbolRed mana symbol
Type of Mechanic: Pseudo-keyword
Rules Text: "Martyrdom -- Whenever an attacking creature you control dies, (ability)."
Other Information: Encourages aggressive play. It is based on 'Glorify', a dropped mechanic from Amonkhet. White mana symbol and Black mana symbol use this ability most efficiently with self-sacrifice creatures which can be sacrificed in response to declaring blockers. It also gives the defending player more decisions on whether they want to block that creature or not.

Fester
Colours: Black mana symbolGreen mana symbol
Type of Mechanic: Pseudo-keyword
Rules Text: "Fester -- A 2/B hybrid mana symbol.A 2/G hybrid mana symbol., Tap symbol: Exile target creature card from a graveyard and put N +1/+1 counter(s) on ~."
Other Information: A Black/green mana symbol graveyard mechanic is going to crop up every now and again. This one allows you to ditch dead creatures to buff up your living ones. Kind of a reverse Scavenge.
