So I'm working on a new (100 card) mini-set project that I'm hoping to eventually expand into a full-sized set, but I need some help with balance, themes, mechanics, etc.
The main theme of the set is "subterfuge", and I figured that the best way to represent that, as well as break a lot of new design ground, was to center the set around "color matters" themes but have tons of cards that can change colors.
I need some feedback on mechanics and balance on what I have so far.

Mechanics
  • Ninjutsu
  • Morph
  • Camouflage (Permanents targeted by this spell become the same color as it until end of turn.)
  • Prism - scaling abilities based on the number of colors among permanents you control

My big concerns are that the cards are overpowered, that Camouflage doesn't matter enough or I won't be able to make it matter, and that Morph doesn't fit with the rest of the set.
Any feedback whatsoever is greatly appreciated.

At first glance, I can say Warfare Glow is ridiculously overcosted (Camuflage is NOT worth 4 extra mana). Onyx vsage and azure wings could also cost less. Tactical charge is worse than Crimson Wisps.
Tactical Venom, on the other hand, should cost at least 2B (see Necrobite). Or just grant deathtouch and a small p/t boost.
Be careful with Backalley Cultivator. It's fine on MSE, but it real life it comboes with Glimpse of Nature and 0/1-mana creatures to draw your whole deck.
