By the way, the card I really expect to have a huge impact from MTI is Rushwood Scion-- seems like it'll be awesome in mono-green as a way to short removal. (In response to your Turn to Gold, I cast a free Leatherback Baloth at instant speed.)

Unless I'm absolutely dumb, I've been pronouncing Xoltan as shul-tAN. I think the letter X makes an SH sound. But calling it zol-TAN is good enough for me! Those fetchable dual lands are crazy!

I forgot the name of the set and have been calling it Zolt-an. However, it's your set, pretty sure it can be pronounced how you feel Like however many times I've said "Volaria" with 'air' instead of 'are' and realized no one else knows that's how to pronounce it

Wow, I made it to the top and got a common in the list, nice. As for pronunciation, I'm gonna take the liberty of being nitpicky and clraify it's Is-kay-thia (then again, the things I name usually have a different pronunciation than standard English, I dare any of you to pronounce Khaliz-Dorahn or Vythraktos correctly Stick out your tongue).

As for the duals, yeah, I'm a bit concerned, but I want to see them in play to see how they work. And Herzinth, don't worry, there'll be enemy-colored versions of these, you'll just have to wait till late 2016/early 2017 Stick out your tongue.

This makes me wonder...how far is everyone planning ahead for sets? I got a whole year of stuff lining up, but I suspect I'll be finished by that point. Haven't really been lurking around long enough to know who all's got sprawling worlds hidden in the forums or how much further they're going.

So yes, Nissa can get infinite ETB triggers with any of three cards: Surplus Contraption, Wild Cantor, or Pearl Oyster. I'm not sure how to win with any of them yet, though.

She's also very good with Callow Mage.

Do you have an impossibly intricate set plan too, Korakhos? My seven set plan is terrifyingly intricate.

@Cajun & jacqui: Well, this may seem a bit sick but...

Open at your own risk
There's the five worlds from Core Set K2015 (one block each), plus 3 other worlds to build a block around, three return to-blocks (one of which will require my Battle Boards if I ever remember to go there and get back on track), one last Core Set and just maybe a conspiracy-ish set, I've also had an idea recently for a Commander product and a new idea for a plane which I may create a block around and a Time Spiral-ish set. Yep, I'm anxious, I'm slightly OCD and I probably won't get all I want done but at least I like to have it layed down. I had planned to have the first set of my next block released before the year ended but it's still in design phase so I'm way behind schedule. If I'm lucky I'll get the entire block and the core set next year, if not it will have to be just the block. So yeah, I have a lot planned so you'll have to endure a lot of me in the short term Big smile.

Also, I just recalled, there will be the battle agains Phyrexia block to which all my storylines will converge, plus the remastering of the Iscathia block I'm working on currently.

@Cajun: I have/had an intricate plot in the works, but it shows itself in forum games more than completed sets. (Spoiler alert, I suck at completing sets.)

Ironically, the sets I have completed have exactly 0 relation to the "planned story" I have. Maybe I'll fix it who knows

So, with the release of ACC into MSE modern, a functional Through the Breach exists in the form of Zipline Strike. Which, isn't really a problem unless we had some form of eldrazi in the format..

3x Golan Ritualist (Churns out 1/1 tokens each turn and gives all the cards in your hand Cull)
3x Renilian Trailblazer (Lets you fetch a land when it attacks and gets a +1/+1 counter whenever a land enters.)
4x Emrakul (The main creature to shoot across a zipline. It does other things, but the important one is annihilator 5.)
1x Kozilek (Another card to send flying across ziplines. Only annihilator 4 but I'm not picky)
1x Ulamog (I mean, he's there. He exists.)

3x Biomanipulation (Mono Green mana symbol Grisly Salvage but a sorcery.)

In a couple days I've got an update to Novea plus the 'other half' of the set. It's different enough that it's a separate set, but both are sort of a 300 card Novea in my head.

Mid-January Relidon will start off the universe. Novea is in it but happens quite a bit before. That'll be a two-set with a Dual Deck in between. This'll have walkers, unlike Novea, who will launch into the next 10 months of story/sets.

Beyond...well let's just say it's a big Multiverse out there.

Well, Storm can't play around the Chilling Orb. Like, at all, since it's ENTIRE plan is to cast multiples of either Grapeshot varients, rituals, or Miraculous Epiphany (depending on the build). Control decks and aggro decks don't have multiple of the same thing going on

Oh, no, that would be impossible. What I meant is I have the basics of those blocks (names and worldbuilding) and a couple of mechanics I plan on using on them plus a list of keywords I came up with. For 2016 I plan to at least release a 3-set block, then if I'm able a core set by the end of 2016 and then start with the rest of the blocks which will be two-set from that point on. Another thing I forgot to add that will fan the flames. I'm planning on a 10-block megacycle (and the crazy keeps on rolling Stick out your tongue).

So, Wind's front post is slightly out of date, and we've run into people who haven't downloaded it, didn't read a page ago, and are confused. Don't worry, people who need to update! I got you covered.

So, for some reason, getting random packs only gives me creatures? Legendary creatures, artifact creatures, but only creatures. The only things that don't are seeded packs. My Ashura set works fine.

I found out the problem! For some reason, the rarity of my non-creature cards is stored in the toughness stat. So when the randomizer asked for a random common/uncommon/rare/mythic, it only had the creatures to pull from, since the creatures already have a toughness and therefore the rarity in the right spot.

So why is my Rarity in the wrong place?

Lots of storm varients. This is the archetype I'm now calling "Cantrip Storm". It utilized many, many spells to generate a massive storm count.

What I'm doing is what I've called "Epiphany Storm". It uses Miraculous Epiphany to ideally cast my entire deck.

Marzen was doing a kind of "Burn Storm". Casting burn spells and using mana generated by Stormcaster to cast more burn spell
